Of course you could buy from gear makers that have their products made here in the US. Or another way to put it is you could buy gear from someone who doesn’t try to attack others people business anonymously.

Like you are attacking Maxpedition's business anonymously?

Second for knifeworks. Nothing but great service from them. I use them almost exclusively for all my purchases regarding knives and "tactical" stuff.

I haven’t hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on him or sent out anonymous emails to try and hurt his business. But Tim’s decided to take part in doing that to others so now I'd say he is fair game to let others know what he thinks is an accepted business practice.

Except for his stuff being made overseas it looks like Ok gear, but I wouldn’t use it if I got it for free

I do have a piece from Max, bought before the problem. I will never buy another, period! He also did a pretty good job of knocking off the knife cases made by Bill's Custom Cases.

I want to buy a Maxpedition pack, but I don't live in US, I live in Singapore, do they have free shipping? If they have, I don't mind buying some of their stuff!

I think that they make GREAT bags, and I can get them for wholesale cost, so that makes non-aquisition a non-issue for me.

When I say great bags, I am comparing them to old US made Sundog gear, and also US made TUMI gear. It is that good.

The knife cases are so pathetically bad in comparison to Bill's Cases that Bill and I were laughing at them the other day. Looks good, works sucky.

Hi All-

Maxpedition gear is built with great attention-to-detail and they have superior customer service. My preference is to buy directly from them so I can take advantage of any latebreaking product improvements to whichever model I'm purchasing. The strength of the sewing is outrageous and I believe I would have to drag the things behind my car in order for them to show any wear and tear.

My collection includes a Proteus, two Razorshells, three CP-Ms, a variety of pouches, and Malice Clips. I've been pleased with each and every transaction. I've had telephone calls put straight through to Tim Tang with a simple request to speak with him.

Maxpedition stuff is sold in Asia under a different name, which I can't remember right now of course. I've read that it is the same quality, and I've also read that it is a cheaper version. That was helpful, no?:D

Stick to the topic at hand get off the "No Maxpedition" kick. It is not up to you to dissuade someone from buying what they like and can afford. If you don't like Maxpedition, fine, but don't hijack this thread with your BS justifications.

HElo guys, I am really interested in getting a devildog versipack from Maxpedition. The one sold in my country is by the Asian brand named Magforce. Is it of the same quality even if their name are diffrent? They are selling at sheares for a devildog versipack at SGD$118. That makes it to like US$70+. Is it cheap? IF it is possible, I would like to get the devildog versipack from Maxpedition from the USA shipped direct. Any idea how much would the whole thing cost me, shipping charges and all? I hope they do give me a discount!
