If you really want it to yes, probably the most practical is to put it on one of the side pockets.

I personally would make belt loops with 3" tac-ties and put it on the Proteus belt.

You can put it on the front, like I did my H1, but the bottle holder is as tall as the waistpack is long so it makes a kind funny cross pattern.

With a little ingenuity and a couple grimlocs you could also put it on the bottom of the Proteus if you don't mind it hanging down past your butt.
 
Any one have a sabercat? Been looking to replace my old buttpack with it wondering if I could fit everthing in it
 
I don't have one, but I've had a lot of play time with it. It's pretty darn big. :D
