I’ve been wondering if Buck will do anything in Magnacut in the near or distant future. I would imagine that it is still expensive and I don’t know how heat treatment would factor in. I’d sure be interested in a Buck Magnacut blade. But the premium steels they have been doing is very good and really can’t complain.

The s45vn 112 I have seems to be doing well and performance and fine edge is similar to s35vn but I haven’t really put it through the paces yet to know if it’s that much better.

Agreed...every part of this little knife is drenched in Cerakote. But since Buck heavily invested in bringing Cerakote in house, it will not die.
