The average has move up as little. The average age of BFC forumites is now estimated at 37.2 with a standard deviation of 10.8 with 146 forumites responding

I'm not sure if this is the most scientific method of determining the average age of participants, since it only polls currently active members, and those motivated enough to post into this thread. But since the very beginning of this thread, the average age has been calculated at about 36-37 years of age. Younger folks may not feel like posting their real age, but some older folks may not want to reveal theirs either. So both of those biases probably cancel each other out since the numbers of those under twenty, and those over sixty are relatively low.

Keep on posting, out estimate will only get better. But, the average of about 37 is unlikely to change much.
