Just wanted to provide some positive feedback for mbhanzo.
I just received two EXCELLENT kydex sheaths from him, and although I comment on the sheaths themselves in this thread, I just wanted to post a thread here for my overall interaction with him.
I contacted mbhanzo here on Bladeforums, and after hashing out the details, I mailed him a couple of my customs. Anxious to get these knives kydex pants, I couldn't help sending the knives to him in what is undoubtedly a busy time for most people: the peak of the holiday season. While he couldn't get to them right away, Mike was very courteous and communicated well. He let me know that he was taking care of a small back-log, and gave me an estimate of when he'd have the knives done. Mike's estimate was accurate and he was true to his word; I received my newly sheathed knives a week or two after our last phone call.:thumbup:
So I had a great experience with mbhanzo (Mike of Grindstone Cutlery), and I recommend him for sheathing work without reservation. Great honest guy who keeps his word and schedule, and a very easy person to talk and work with.
