Medford

I like comic books at times (probably a huge surprise to everyone :D).

I'd pick up a copy if it were available locally so as to avoid shipping costs.

Why the hell not, right? :)

Looks like they're copying your life.

the last thing people who read comics is a damn pry bar from Medford.

Is this a trick question? I thought comical was all Medford did. Oh, you said comics. Well, it is fitting if you think about it.

Saw this on my feed, earlier. Hopefully it's not done poorly. That could be really embarrassing and bad for the community.

And since the thread topic involves knives and comic books...

Those are a couple of knives my wife owns.

So it seems that comic books don't get in the way of knives, or getting girls. :)

My worry is that this will be portraying knives as weapons, which is (in my opinion) a damaging portrayal of the knife community.

It very well may...but that is already the case in many, many comic books out there.
Whether it's the hero or the villain using them, utility uses are not nearly as frequent as weapons usage.

One more comic book title that won't be bought by nearly as many people as the other ones will make zero difference.

To me, coming from the knife maker it just sends a more direct message. However I do agree that it probably makes no difference.

I'd love to see something in the MacGyver vein, utility use but still very cool. It would also force some fun creativity in the story writing.

I saw it this morning and had no words! Some interesting marketing ploys in the knife world! No shortage of icons! :)
