Meet The Real BB13. . . . Here's A Special Offer And Some Cool Pics!!!

Excellent Point-I would however not pass up a chance to get a BB-13-just my opinion-Great points made about who is behind the knife
Resinguy, I too am quite curious about a comparison with the 1311. Keep in mind that a great majority of chopping power follows who is behind the knife and what type of technique they use, not to mention general body strength (witness Keffeler's mesomorphic build) coupled with top shelf visual acuity.

My thoughts are a that the thinner profile of the 1311 would make it a terrific cutter in a chop-off scenario.

For all of you thinking the .25" CG will be too thick, just remember that can always be changed with a little (or a lot) of sanding or custom shop regrind,

Is it possible to do a Regrind after the heat treat? Because a CG in FFG would be an AWESOME beast! I just want to make sure as I may purchase another...

Thanks

Picked up the CG yesterday, had to go back to the trough for the BG today. Zero willpower [emoji17]

I think the guys passing on these over specs alone are gonna 13e some sad squealers later on. ;)

Not in my case and I am getting the SR-101 blade. There is a saying that runs through the blood of true Hogs: "No regrets!" I have owned hundreds of Busse knives, including THE Silent Knight prototype that was hand-ground by Jerry himself and which was made and intended to never be sold. Many have been sold and I own what I consider to be the best of the best. I have not had a regret yet and I'm not about to start. Of course, YMMV.

Man.....if there was ever a time where a man should just really get both, then that time is now I believe.
Such great pricing on both....which I just did btw 😄

I'm in for 7 INFI and 1 BG.......i should probably order 5 more BG for a total of 13 13asic 13lades, right?.......

Wow !!!!! You are one crazy INFI sick fellow, that's just crazy awesome right there !!!!!! :-)

My wallet said he hates all of you guys but i told my wallet to shut his stupid leather lips.

I love big choppers and this is sure to be a 13east. Price is on point too! Might sleep on it another day before i make my decision...so tempting...

How would the B13 compare to the HUCK? The specs seem very similar.

I'm still waiting on an answer to this myself since I have the Huck on order... so I ordered the BB 13 Battle Grade to find out

  1. BB 13 Battle Grade is 0.187" thick vs Huck's 0.25". However, the INFI version is also 0.25" thick.
  2. BB 13 has a shorter overall length. It should feel noticeably lighter.
  3. BB 13 has a flat saber grind and Huck has CBT (corrugated bevel technology).

The BB 13 Battle Grade should be a better chopper due to the thinner and longer blade. More speed, more leverage... I could be wrong though ;)

Both are awesome designs, so you might be happier getting both. I certainly will :)

INFI .25 BB13 CG will out chop the SR-101 .187 BB13 BG

Unless of course your arms are spaghetti thin ;)

There's no question in my mind that this style is a awesome chopper. From first hand experience. Awesome Chopper !!!
