Meet The Real BB13. . . . Here's A Special Offer And Some Cool Pics!!!

Now if that is a .32" ffbm, then picture that extra 3 inches still being even lighter than that one and it makes even more sense. ;)

Yeah man.....I haven't measured yet, but she's certainly thicker than my .250 SFNO and ASH1. So, I would bet she is .32

For all of you thinking the .25" CG will be too thick, just remember that can always be changed with a little (or a lot) of sanding or custom shop regrind, but nothing will change this one week Operation Two Weeks limited offering from either NOTHING or SR-101 into INFI. No regrets, buy once, cry once and then smile often!!! :D

Have to say Busse knocked this one out of the park. The design is just plain awesome... way better than expected.

IMO you just have to go with INFI on the large choppers. It truly shines in that department and just can't be beat. Being .25 it is going to be a freaking monster. This one may dethrone the NMFBM????!

.

I'm counting on it. :D It may even beat my MOABolo & TTKZ.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I thought about only getting 1 but I had to get an extra for modding if I want to try anything. I'd love to put a sick swedge on there. There's no telling.

Am I the only one looking at this, and thinking of removing the "choil" (okay, half choil)...doing away with that rear bit of recurve in the process?

I plan on modding one, but I have a while to think about how. That is an interesting idea though it may move the balance even more to the front... might require a trim up front somewhere to offset it. ;)

I was really hoping for ThINFI. :( Just not keen on swinging a heavy blade. But am happy to settle for the BG version. It will be interesting to compare this to the BOOM Parang, the 1311, and the 1311 scimitar variant.

Personally. ..after staring at this for a while....I think it's perfect in every way. Ordered the tan and black INFI.

Honest question do you guys think the weight difference will be that noticeable I ordered infi can't beat the price and I want to strip it without having to patina it. If it comes in at 27oz that's less then my xd 40 unloaded and in comparison to even a small wood axe or hatchet dosnt seem like swinging it would be to bad

I think the guys passing on these over specs alone are gonna 13e some sad squealers later on. ;)

All I'm thinking about now is what I'm gunna do to her once she's in my hands. I'm gunna strip her, then beat the living crap out of her. Sounds really bad if you take that out of context.

Its probably a silly question, more of a comment/question.
So would a leather sheath for B13 would have to be as wide (the whole length of the sheath) as wide as is the widest point of the blade. Is there a way around it ? I know BB makes some nice open back Kydex sheaths, would something similar work with Leather ? Thanks for the info

Resinguy, I too am quite curious about a comparison with the 1311. Keep in mind that a great majority of chopping power follows who is behind the knife and what type of technique they use, not to mention general body strength (witness Keffeler's mesomorphic build) coupled with top shelf visual acuity.

My thoughts are a that the thinner profile of the 1311 would make it a terrific cutter in a chop-off scenario.
