Well, when I etch them with a 9v....it looks Amazing.... can't get that result with a Comp finish blade. And I kinda like the gremlins....it's like a lottery ticket in a way.
Swamp Rat & Co, can someone please post a pic of the spine of the MRMD next to a standard RMD? I'm sooo excited for this blade.
I am not normally a big RMD fan because I find the handles too narrow, this one should solve that problem . Can't wait to try this one and skeletonized handle too keep the balance , I'm in for this one.
I need some help. If someone has a Swamp Rat with Red & Black, Green & Black or Tan & Black handles please post pics. I'm torn on what to order. I know I'm grabbing a comp with black g10, a blue with bruiser grips but it seems I need another to round out my options.
Max and Rat With that thick SR101 laying around you to keep an eye on Dan and the Yard. He might want it for an Alpha Huck or Scrap Raider (both with Regulator handles) You guys need to keep it handy for a Mega MountainManBolo
I'm most curious about the handle. The Ratmandu always felt a bit thin to me. I'm hoping the extra thickness of the steel flattened it up and that they didn't make the scales too much thinner.
Been daydreaming about a fatty RMD Sent an IG msg about it an hour ago lol. Shoulda checked my email first. Catch y’all Wednesday nite!
The pricing comments suggest that this one will be on the website for a while, which takes some of the pressure off my finances. Still thinking I might offer up a certain milkweed pod & white resin relative to ease the pain.
I've been eyeing up an RMD for quite a while, I think now is the time to pull the trigger. I assume this will be added to the swamp rat website when it drops? I tried searching and couldn't find the details on how to order these.
Yeah..... I'm going to need to see the spine shots on this one. I've already got 9 of these things in various livery (if you include SWATmandu), 11 if you include the Ratmandeaux. I could start using my way through what I already have today, and wouldn't have to start sharpening them again until next year. I know it's not about need (I don't need what I already have), but I'm just not sure I WANT another. Even a MEGA one. Please.... spine shot.
Right now my main woods blade is a SYKCO War Dog. Spine is .22 in on a 5 in blade and I am thinking about thinning it. I just don't see the appeal of something mega thick.
