Memorial Day Give-A-Way (hey, a poem)

Somehow I wound up with two of these puppies. Brand new, never carried. The spots on the main blade are from a light mist falling here in Tejas today. Your post number is your entry number. Just be sure you have a few post under your belt here in Traditional before you enter. If you post more than once only your first post counts. A random number generator will chose the winner on Thursday (30th) evening. The toy soldier and cannon usually stand guard in front of my piggy bank but I thought them fitting for Memorial Day. The GEC 15s are sweet knives in case you did not know that already. Good luck.

JK, a very touching read. Thank you for that. We are the same here in the UK, the tradition is waning, more and more people no longer remember or care about the great sacrifices made.
 
Rob, you always have nice stuff. Not an entry but just wanted to say thanks. BTW, cut up some meat today with the Shadley Fixed I got from you some time ago, used it as my table knife as well, got lots of compliments. I told them it came from a cool guy and NO, you cannot use it!:)
 
One never knows what he had until it's gone. The same in trading or selling knives or freedoms that one took for granted and while he was sleeping later found that they were gone. Thank you, for the giveaway, that's a great knife.

EDIT: Thanks for the replie, Rob; but I´ve been a reciever of so much generosity (and at last luck) to get so many great items, I´d like to get another honored member here for this great looking knife. I don´t want to offend your great offer, but I´d like to see others getting the chance. :)
