A #15 headed out to #15. Poetic, that.

Thanks for a great Giveaway, Rob, and congratulations to Toyz!

Fantastic give-away Thomason, thank you very much for your generosity, as others have said - you always have nice stuff, and its always a pleasure when you post.
Congrats Toyz....that's a lovely knife.

I have very few knives that have special meaning or have made their way to me thru kindness - this will be one of them.

It has double meaning, as it is also a reminder of the sacrifices many have made so we can live the life we do and enjoy the liberties we have.

Rob, that was a fantastic give away and Toyz, you are getting one of my best loved GEC patterns. What a great place this forum is. This entire spring and maybe this entire year, there have been countless nice knives given by one member to another either in the background or in a public give away like this one. I've never seen another community like this one and am proud to be members of it with you folks.

Congratulations, Toyz!!!

Knife received today - what a gem. So I'm approaching my 46th summer on this planet and this knife presented me with a few "firsts"

- first 1095 carbon steel knife
- first GEC
- first red jigged bone handle

Yep - my slipjoints to date have been stainless, so I'm really looking forward to getting a patina on this one. Fit and finish is great, with a strong pull on both blades.

Thanks again for the giveaway and quick shipping Rob. More to follow via a new thread.
