Memorial Scout Knife Giveaway - New Knives Added!

I am sorry for your loss:( That Was really great of Case to step up and give those to you for the GAW! I am in for my nephew, who is 5 but already a budding knife fan whose parents are "almost ready" to let me give him a knife.

The kids portion is closed, but I will enter you for one of the half whittlers tomorrow

It's a fine thing your doing abbydaddy abbydaddy , I can't think of a better tribute to your brother, not just the giveaway, but your devotion to him.
As before I do not need to be in.

Okay everybody. Last call for entries. I will be picking a winner after the Superb Owl.

And the winner of the Case BSA Red Bone Half Whittler is...

Hickory n steel Hickory n steel

Sorry for your loss, and great idea for a giveaway.
My oldest brother recently got over some stuff, and I think it's for good.
I'm in.
I would like to enter this on behalf of my 15 year old cousin.
He's in FFA so he could use a good knife, and recently got out of the hospital after an almost fatal illness that turned out to be type 1 diabetes.
Luckily they got some help with the very expensive medical bills.
I think he could use a decent American made slipjont, especially something like this.

Send me a pm with your address and I will get that knife off to you.

Thank you to everyone who entered. And thank you to @willintheweeds and @Case Knives for their marvelous generosity. I'll see you all again for the giveaway next year.

Awesome left a message on your profile page, thanks so much and a big thanks to all involved.

I don't know if these were made to be used with that blade print, but I fully intend to and if the print wears off it's still got the shield and displayable tin.

Oh I certainly think they are meant to be used. You may eventually wear off the blade print, but I think it will be visible for plenty of time.

Also, I deleted the visitor message you left so that your address doesn't stay public, but I got it written down and I will send off the knife tomorrow.

Thanks, it'll sure get used.

Btw is it stainless or CV ?
I don't yet own a CV case, but their stainless is just fine in my book.

I've watched this since the beginning - great way to honor you brother's life. It is obvious he was loved. OH

It is stainless, which makes sense for a boy scout knife.

Good to know.
This looks like a great pattern, and I'm looking forward to trying it out.
I just hope it's not one of those knives I have trouble not carrying, sometimes I wish I could carry and use all of them at the same time.

Well I know I'm a little late with this, but the weather's sucked and I finally got the Scout knife to a future Scout. Thanks, Jon! Dalton's not sure what to make of this, but his dad's pleasantly surprised and promised to keep it safe for a couple more years. I expect I'll have his older sister around soon looking for "her" knife, but that's going to wait a bit too.

What a cutie! Looks like his hair is the same kind of slightly gingery color as my son's :)

Thanks for the update.

Awesome, luckily kid to have a pocket knife waiting for him when he's old enough.
My dad didn't plan ahead and just picked up one of those very horrible dollar store multi function knives ( aka Vic knockoff )
