Menefee Stag Pocket knife

Thanks for all the nice comments .Charlie,your knife is real nice & somewhat of a "rare" Menefee slipjoint,Rick has not made many with jigged bone,its a beauty & he does fill it up with blade,sharp blade,too

The tapered tang on that knife is strictly for showing off,a regular full tang would have the same feel on that knife

Tapered tangs were popular in the eighties IIRC. they are an imbellishment and test of talent of the maker for sure.
