Merc Worx Folders

Folks, all this discussion is unneccessary, I have found that most complex arguments can be broken down into very simple terms, and here, obviously, it's:

"Gentlemen prefer them. Professionals insist on them." :)

Can you just picture a "professional" about to go on a black op stamping his feet, saying: "No, no, no!!! It MUST be a MercWorx! I wont go unless somebody gets me a MercWorx Chile-Sniper with the satin, red micarta handle..."

Yes, i turn into quite a little smartass when i'm up late, sorry. :p

Also, am i the only one who realizes that MW is essentially marketing their knives as an upscale alternative to Striders? Did you see how on their website, they took several potshots directly at Strider and pointed out how they were better than Strider? Interesting.

There is one brand which isn't worth the premium price, but if anyone brings up this topic, you'll get shot down with phrases like, "you don't understand...You don't own one...They are used by real Operators (phone operators?)...etc etc...
I'm not saying which brand, because last time I did, my email was stuffed with interesting comments...

Yeah them Striders are sure worthless.

Number of Striders personaly seen strapped on LBEs and vests.....26

Number of MercWorxs personaly seen strapped on LBEs and vests.....0

I'll be honest, I like the folder and probably would buy one if it had a tanto blade. But don't give me none of this top secret Hooo haaaa. Gimme a break why are the names of the knifemakers so secret. I wouldn't be surprised if their ad said "The blades are forged and grinded at midnight with a full moon on West Luzon DZ with a Plt of Spec Ops in a circle chanting running cadences".

.....I've got A Merc Worx thread!!! :-)
Thought their folders were ugly myself. Handled one but the appearance erased the feel apparently!
My $0.02 worth!
