I got the MO money and list from Codger.

I sent the seller an email this evening.

Assuming that he responds tomorrow I'll paypal him all the money and hopefully the next step will be me receiving them and sending them out.

Far as I know I got all the paypals and money. I'll look it over again tomorrow just to make sure.

Everything looks good.

3 issues

#1 The seller says he doesn't have enough finger carving badges to cover what we want but will in 2 to 3 weeks.

My personal wish would to be delay the order till he can send them all at once because I don't want to have to send 2 packages to people due to the postage. I'd rather do it all at once.

#2 According to him:
Also note that they 6 Gray Hair patches are actually 2.5" diameter patrol patches (rather than 1.5" diameter merit badges). These gray hair patches are retail $2.75 each, so a 35% discount from retail will cost you $1.79 each.

#3 Thanks to the extra some people sent for postage (which I said I would cover anyway) even with the more expensive grey hair patches we are only 10 bucks short of what we need.

We probably would have been over what we need but the %age paypal deducts from the payments I'd received cut into the surplus:thumbdn:

Once again 10 bucks is not that much so I'll cover that too just to simplify things.:D

So unless if anyone radically objects I am going to wait for the guy to contact me when the finger carving patches are in before I make the order.

I agree you should wait for the whole order. It complicates mailing unnecessary to split up who gets what when. We will still be getting them in time to sew them on before the good weather settles in! :D

Esav just paypaled me the difference:thumbup:

Thanks!

Looks like we are good to go. I'm gonna email the seller and tell him I want him to email me when the badges come in!

Update. Looks like the wait will be about a MONTH. I wish this guy wouldn't have told Codger there was no worry about having them in stock:rolleyes:

Hi Jim - - - - -

I have pulled all of the other spoof badges that you have ordered and have them waiting for you. When the remaining finger carving merit badges arrive, we will contact you for payment info. Sorry for the delay.

Yours in Scouting,
Chris

Waiting is not a problem here! They get here when they get here!!

Thanks for doing all of this!

Yup. He was pretty confident that they were well stocked when I asked way back when. Sorry guys. And the one badge out of stock, Finger Carving, is one of the best of the lampoon badges. Well, all in time, I guess. The money is safe and waiting on the supplier to come thru.

no problemo codger...I'm in no hurry to open the chigger ranch anyway! haven't finished the fence yet!

Thanks for kicking this back up.

I'll have all the stuff ready to mail them out and addressed before they arrive.

My personally chosen work uniforms (I am a self employed contractor) are Dickies tan "King Georges" (Think Croc Hunter), so one shirt will be heavily adorned for hiking when I am in a silly mood. And yes, the "Bear Gryllis on a spit" patch will be the sleeve adornment. Now all I need is a gymp lanyard with a whistle and strap on one of my large Marbles Woodcraft sheath knives! Now, what color kerchief? Decisions, decisions! WWSBPD??? What would Sir Baden Powell do? :D
