Micarta handles for Becker?

These sound pretty nice. Anyone have pics of theirs? I'd like to see them on a BK7 or a BK2 Campanion....

THANKS!

I called the 800 number at Camillus. Had a very hard time getting someone to take my order, then was told that due to the differences in thickness, the Beckers won't fit their sheaths with this modification. That shouldn't affect the CU/7 or the BK 9, but the rest that have a "friction grip" on the handles won't work anymore.

I'll post some pics tonight as soon as survivor is over! Check back! Sorry it's taken me so long to get you guys some pics.

I'll try and get some better pics soon, or if there is something specific you want to see let me know and I'll try to capture that angle for ya!

:D Just got my micarta handles for the Combat Utility and Bowie. Camillus charged me $40 plus shipping. They look very good. Handles are textured with a diamond pattern like the Extreme model. Color is greenish tan. Bolted right on using original fasteners. Now I like my BK-7 as well as my RAT-7! They fit absolutely perfectly flush with the tangs. Wish I knew how to send a picture. Maybe my kids can show me how later. I could not be more pleased.

For those that have already received and installed these handles...do they alter the balance of the knife to any degree? I like the somewhat neutral balance of the knife with the original handles

I'm just guessing here, but...

$20 CU + $20 CB = $40

Thank you for the link to your site Pastor.. I think I just found the new bag for my kit =)

I got mine. They are without a doubt a big improvement for the becker grip if you have little problems with the original.

Ordered mine today, along with a new BK-7... my other one is looking a little.. beat from the NO salt water.

This little trick worked for me. Take a hair dryer and chuck it in a vise. Turn it on the highest setting. Hold the sheath up to the hair dryer so that it points down the throat of the sheath. Once it heats up, give the sheath a squeeze from front to back, around the throat. Repeat this a few times until the throat closes up a bit. Try the knife in the sheath a few times during the process. Now your knife should be good and secure.

Anyone want to comment in this? I am curious as well.
