I work close to a place that has stacks and stacks of the Micarta in its scrap yard, most pieces are about 1" thick 6" to 8" wide and 4' to 8' long, if anyone is interested, I will be glad to check to see if I can have some more. Used several slabs as table tops R & L of miter box saw. Great wearing stuff. Let me know via email. I will shrink wrap the slabs and fedex grd or priority mail for my cost to anyone that can use it, provided they haven't moved it in the past month.

What type of business is it? I would like to try to find something similar nearby.

Where I found it was at a machine shop that was doing sub-contract work for Westinghouse. They machined out the panels 4'x10' and 4'x 12' to allow insets for different types of control boxes. I have no clue as to who subs for one their divisions that makes generators for Damns. Huge items. The slabs, as I call them, are light green in color, can be machined, drilled and cut. I do not know if they can be polished. but the surface is slick as all get out. It appears to have been polished itself.

One other note: Do Not know how much of this stuff is available, I will send in order of EMAILS received. I need Name and Delivery addresses, First come, First Shipped out, I think I will start cutting slabs down to 12" so that more can benefit. I think I still have a couple in my own warehouse.
