Micarta Monday - Traditional Knives Only, Please

Like Will Power Will Power above, I'm posting a Case Crossroads Sodbuster Jr., a recent generous (and surprise) gift from @Modoc ED . The covers on mine are "orange canvas laminate". I don't know if that's technically micarta, but I figure it's micartaesque enough for this thread. This morning it cut up apple and grapes for me to put on my cereal, and cut up broccoli stem and carrots to put on the dog's breakfast.

Tremendous gift Gary and I really like these X-Roads Sodbusters, so well finished with interesting details, great steel and practical aspects for sure.

Your knife is a fine colour, really admirable :)

I like that pair of RRs, Eric!:cool::thumbsup:
I'm scheduled to post my denim half hawk like yours next Monday. ;)

Today I have a Rough Ryder Blue Mule G-10 canoe:

That photo isn't very focused, is it? I'll try a different one in which the light makes the blue look darker:

Thank you, sir. I’m a RR fan for many of their designs, but not all. I’ve found them to be overall well built these days. Some say they have no “soul” by not being USA built. Id say they are as handmade as any production knife. I feel any knife has no soul until we transfer pieces of our own character and “soul” into them. Any knife one has takes on the characteristics of the owner once it’s been carried enough, be it patina, wear, mods, etc. I like the blue G10 you have. I’m a canoe fan like you. I don’t have as many as you do though. I do possess a ‘75 Case canoe like you do. It’s my birth year, so, I had to have one.
