Micarta Monday - Traditional Knives Only, Please

I think one of the things I really like about micarta as a cover material on traditional knives is that it is unobtrusive enough to really allow for the showcasing of the pattern itself. The lines, symmetry and elegance of so many of the patterns shown hrere are oustanding!
 
I've never been a big fan of micarta, outside of the paper variety (especially dislike bead blasted). But then every now and then, I'll see some smoothly polished natural micarta that's aged beautifully and just think.. wow.

Lots of pretty micarta in this thread.
