Micarta VS G10

Both!

More specifically, G-10 to add a bit of weight and improve handfeel on small knives. For larger knives I prefer micarta.

Micarta for the feel, g10 for the performance.

Which leaves me with g10 as a pick I suppose. It's like, what's a better drive, a porsche or a jeep? Its a jeep if you gotta go off road.
And a knife might always have to go off road.

Micarta for aesthetical reasons; G-10 for practice. Somehow I feel that micarta will hold its value longer than G-10.
