I actually called and talked to a lady there, and she told me to just fill out the form and send it in with $15.00. She said the turn around time was between 6 to 8 weeks

Thats just what I will have to do. For one thing its got those stupid tri wing screws on it, and the pivot needs to be tightened up plus it needs a sharpening, and I know sending it there it will be done right. Oh well.

So far I'm not impressed with the turn around time responses I'm getting from you guys...not that it matters...I'm waiting on an RA number now...detent isn't getting any better...I'm just going to bite the bullet and send it in before trying to open it permanently damages the seat between the lock bar and the G10. Hopefull they also replace the pocket clip I've been waiting on for 2-1/2 weeks now...
edit/update: going back to Microtech for a tune-up...here's hoping for a positive outcome...sooner than later.

Okay...I received my knife back Thursday and it's right as rain. Laurel emailed me a few times and always returned my calls. When the knife was finished she emailed me the tracking number. The only downside is they had to replace the entire scale & lockbar. All covered under warranty, but the lock up is a scoshe later than it was when I sent it. I suspect that if it ever becomes a problem that they'll be able to remove the lockbar and install a new one. Nice side benefit of that design.
