Yes it is. The flash brightens it a little, but very close.

I can't find a microtech "USM" anywhere on the internet to get info. Does it have a different name? Or where can I find more info on it? I am interested in the red one because I am a Firefighter.

Try UMS and not USM...

BTW, great knife, great Seller, and a really great price on that Firefighter version...
