Yes, Mikey, the blade has a satin hand-finish. Stainless bolsters with twin threads.
Definitely for keepin'!!

FLymon, the color in my scan is real close. In hand, it has more "life" though,
more brightness, or highlights. It's quite a beautiful red bone!
Wagglebee, the bolsters have a high polish. I can see my ugly, distorted mug in there!!

I can sort of see that now, I think it's the lighting (or maybe my monitor).

I definitely need to pick up one of Mike's Doctors knives, I think I'll order it though so I can get exactly what I want.

Well I finally joined the Mike Alsdorf knife owners club. I should have this little mammoth ivory doctor in a day or so. I can't wait! I'll try and post some pics of my own when I get it, this one is Mikes.

Here's one that I had Mike make for me as a Christmas present to myself.

Doctor pattern with mammoth ivory scales and CPM 154 blade. The picture doesn't show it, but I also had Mike put my initials on the shield.
