Military affiliates sound off!

Four years USMC. 60-64 One tour Nam.Helos.
Avionics.Carried a Randall my father gave me. Still have it.Also carried a Old Timer folding hunter,tl-29 and one of the orange switchblades that they issued us as aircrewman.Had knives all of my life.Used to casterate sheep a couple times of year with a razor sharp case.Good old knives.

Four years Regular Army, Nam 69-70 11Bush with 11th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division. Spent a lot of time in the mountains of lower I Corps. I abused a Ka-Bar the whole time and it held up good, a lot better then army issue. I got the knife bug when I was about 6 and my older brother gave me a Hitler Youth Knife. Got interested in makin 'em about 10 when I made a frog gig in my great uncle's blacksmith shop, then got into trouble for making a dagger from a file in shop class in high school. Been making 'em ever since.
Found the Forum looking for a source for decent guard castings online and have been addicted ever since. This HORDE thing is realy a trip.
