I don't think the design should deviate from G-10. This knife is a pure and simple workhorse and G-10 is the perfect material for such an application.

In terms of colors, I think whatever color used should closely reflect the main color in any of the U.S. Military's camo styles (it is called the Military, after all). So I think it should be:
1. OD Green (for standard jungle camo)
2. Tan/Khaki (for desert camo)
3. Or just keep it black
