Military Model Question for Sal Glesser

Mr Glesser,

We all know Spyderco has several versions of the Military, the question I have for you is, If you for your personal needs could pick only one Military model, which one would you pick and why?

If you have a pick out of all the Military versions please post as well but I really am looking for Mr Glesser's thoughts on this one.

When I carry a Mili, I generally grab the S90V CF Mili.

That's what I carried today.

If I'm snow throwing, I'll carry a serrated S30V. Cutting stuff off the tines is best with teeth.

my favourite Millie is my S90v, which is actually made out of 2 different millies:
- blade, liners, pins - from an S90V one
- handle, clip, clip screws - from a BG42 one, on which I have found the fit & finish to be absolutely excellent
this flawless millie usually sits in my bug-out-bag and doesn't see much carry

my favourite EDC millie is a plain Jane PE S30V Millie

and finally the millie of my dreams would have a coated M4 blade and orange G10 handles

Thanks for the Reply! It is good to know what the Big Guy likes, for me it is the great CF BG-42, I think it is the best all around Military model out there.

I figured Mr. Glesser would have some proto-type "blade steel" Military that he couldn't tell us about. :)
 
Having only one full size. I like my basic S30V. Wish I could have snagged a D2 when it was time. Settled for, but am extremely pleased with, the D2 Para.
 
Damn Sal, if I had an unlimited supply of knives, I wouldn't have a single Safe Queen. :D

That brings to mind another question for you (not to change the thread).

Do you collect other peoples knives? Anything, such as customs, other production models, make your own?

:eek: Modern treasure, have any kings of small rich countries asked for one of these? (if only I were the king of a small country.:grumpy:)

I know it won't be as good, but you will do a run in S110V when you get the chance, right?
Edit: It would also be awesome to see a fancy new steel with a fancy new lock... (wink wink, nudge nudge.)

The S90V millie is my fav too, its also my only millie :grumpy:. Sal, what's the RC on this thing?
 
65, holy sh@!, that's one hard blade, also explains why it feels like I am rubbing rocks together during sharpening.
