Military Model Question for Sal Glesser

I believe Joshua's correct. RC65 is right in the comfort zone for S125V, but too high for S90V.

There's no telling what else Sal has tried out in his search for practical advances in His line of knives. My best guess is that if I've heard of it, Sal already has a long time
ago and ruled it out for production for one of any of a number of reasons. Joe

On a somewhat related topic, how many units were made of the BG-42, D2, and S90V Military models? Were they 600-unit sprint runs, or were there more than that?

Yes, I'm a true enigma. An international man of mystery ;). I've obviously spent more time reading than writing in these parts!

IIRC the numbers were 1500 pcs for the BG-42 and D2 and a little fewer (1200 pcs maybe) for S90V

Hey, good question!

I've always wanted to ask Sal what his favourite Spydie is, but didn't have the moxie.

I like the S30V PE myself, although to be fair I haven't had a BG-42 or 90V to compare it with.

But I honestly believe the S30V version is more than adequate for my kind of usage, so I really can't justify the expense of the fancier models.

As far as serrated VS PE goes, I def. prefer PE now. Unless I'm working with cheese :D
