lol

women have power indeed

I have a PE, S30V, Military... (my favorite knife btw), going to get a ParaMilitary when it comes out.

CE S30v (Vamp talked me into it... the ce config anyway)

Para too probably... in PE. Maybe I might get a a Millie in PE too sometime.

Just got one, sold it, realized that it was real good and ordered another which'll be here tomorrow. This folder rules. I had no idea and it had nothing to do with Simona's bio pics. I accidentally called my wife "Simona" last night.

S30V
Plain Edge
No Para

PE S30V.

See some comments of mine on the S30V Military on the British Blades forum here and here.

My opinion is not positive so far...

PS: Welcome back, Simona. You have been missed, you gorgeous thing, you!

"Ol' Skool" ATS 34 PE Millie owner here. In my pocket as I type.
I'm 90% sure I'm in for a Para, the variables being how it fits in the hand, what they do w/ blade etching (don't want "PARAMILITARY" in inch-high letters)etc.

PE 440V!!!! Thinking about the Para...so many other blades I would like right now. Take care!!!

1 440V millie in my pocket and one unused 440V millie painting it's toenails in my knife box as backup. Don't reckon I'll bother with the para. May get the S30V Millie at some stage. The millie is my EDC and it cuts, occasionally chops (which did temporarily loosen the lock like your experience Max) and has survived an episode of heavy prying (I was locked in my toilet) without damage. That tip is as strong as I'll ever need it to be.

Chopping and prying are not what it's designed for but EDC is EDC and it will be there when other tools aren't and can't be got at.

Just received mine this morning. So far I am impressed!!! I will need a few days to form a coherant opinion, but I like it a lot so far.

My first Mili. PE S30V.
I delayed getting one because of it's size, too big I thought. After carring one a little while, found it to be quite comfortable in my pocket. Love the S30V, what a great steel.

Got mine (440V straight edge) waaaaaaay back when as a presento from Sal Glesser when he first established the Spyderco Forum here. A search of the archives has a thread about it -:) Still have it too -:)

Hi Jeff,

I have owned a PE Military in CPM-440V, and a serrated model in the same steel. Also, I have owned a fully serrated model in ATS-34 (with the beautiful "diamond engraving" on the blade) and now own a similar ATS-34 model in plain edge, as well as a new plain edge in S30V...WOW!

Be cool, Jeff/1911.

ps - I would very much like to obtain a Paramilitary once they come out.

So far the only person with anything negative to say is Maximus Otter who was dissapointed because his pocketknife was not ideal for chopping down trees? I'd say that's not too bad!

Just recently got a preowned-but-mint Military in CPM-440V combo-edge from ebay. The guy said it was mint, and indeed it was -- for only *$80* including shipping! :D I feel like I got the bargain of the century. The knife is rock-solid.

I have not yet seen this Paramilitary you folks mentioned. What is it? Google search incomplete and I didn't see any pics on the sites it did find...

A common 440V PE and two Forum 2000, #15 and #16. And yes, I am planning to get the Para-Milie.
