Military selects Sig 320

I really like what I am seeing and hearing about the 320. It may very will be the first Sig I end up buying. I'm definitely a Glock guy but no fan boy. I love my G19 and G43 which is what I carry, but if I had the money right now I'd buy a CZ p07, Sig P320, and the new CZ P10 (Which fits glock holsters) and I'd carry which ever I liked the best. I think I'll probably grab all 3 eventually but I just have to decide if I want the 320 or the P07 first. Everything I've seen and read seems to say the 320 is a great pistol. I love the modular aspect to it as well.

This is how it shoots for me,

The more I shoot it the more I like it

The trigger block is the part that counts as a gun

Changing the grip module is a snap

Do it yourself camo is easy since the grip module only runs 35 to 40 bucks. So if you mess up no big deal.

It doesn't say on the slide but I had it in my head that it's a Gen 4. I bought it to replace my trusty Colt civilian .45 ACP that I gave away a couple years ago.

If it has the older texture on the grip its a gen3 if it has the more abrasive little pyramids on the grip and a double recoil spring its a gen4 also none of the made in the USA glocks are legal in cali, only austrian versions. Which seems weird to me.

You're right, it's a 3.

I've only shot 5-600 rounds through mine and I like it. I've owned 3 other .45s (Colt, Springfield Armory and S&W) and the Glock performs as well as them.

I've always had good experience with Glocks, I switched to gen 4 for the backstraps. The triggers have been better out of the box too. At least for me.

Maybe I just haven't been shooting my two Glocks enough yet to actually notice there being anything wrong with the standard factory triggers.

The Gen 3 triggers are slightly better than Gen 4s. More crisp, slightly smoother. Not enough to complain about though. I would suggest that you look at putting a 3.5 disconnect in your trigger assembly. Smooths it out a little and slightly reduces the pull weight. Glock OEM part works fine, it's just not as "pretty" as the aftermarket ones. Easy to change out and inexpensive. Well worth the effort.

Mines the opposite the gen4's were smoother and crisp out of the box and even better after a couple thousand rounds, where the gen3's I put ghost connectors in. The gen3 i shot the most got a full set of new springs before I gave it to my daughter. That was after 10k rounds though.
