Military Tip up conversion

Well,

I went ahead and finished the conversion using the BM inserts.
They were too long and I filed them to half the length they were.

Found a close enough drill bit (9/64th) and I Finger drilled a larger hole on the back of the scale for the insert.
A hand drill would of been to fast and I would of drilled all the way through.

Insert set in with MXBOX 105 glue.

A stock clip and long screws were used to help seat them in while the glue dried.

They are FLUSH on the inside of the scale

Caseys Long clip re-installed..

Right hand.. Tip up... Lanyard hole

Life is GREAT.

Since it was mentioned, http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1123113

I also just did my 52100. I don't care about speed of deployment and I can easily one hand open it. I prefer Casey's short clip as it is almost completely not even touched when gripping the knife. The biggest advantage to tip up is it takes up less room in your pocket and doesn't scrape your hand when putting in your pocket like tip down.
