Military vs Para

I like the para. I find the handle o the military to be too large and it would get in the way of other crap in my pocket (cell phone etc)

Military all the way. One of the best fishknives I have used and the handle length is perfect for clearing blackberries on the trail

I have handled both the Military and the Para Military and I own a D2 Para Military and I love this thing I just got done sharpening it and it has a razor edge to it and it is the perfect EDC size for me and I like the Militarys but they will come with time I am even thinking about getting an S30V version of the Para some time in the future.

I have a couple of Paras (S30V and CPM D2) but they don't see much pocket time any more. The S90V Military has been my constant companion since it came out. I'm only 5'-8", but I have rather large hands, so the Military is a perfect fit.

I like the Military (over the Para) for 3 reasons:
- Better detent
- Longer blade
- Handle fits my hands better

Like the Para a lot, but I'm lovin' my Militaries - I'm up to 4 now, all different (S90V, S30V, BG-42, and a D2).
That said, I do have 3 Para's.

if they came out with a wire-clip, tip-up/down Military I'd be all over it.
Hopefully the Ti Military comes out soon :D.

Mixed feelings.
Like the size of handle of the millie but it's a bit to big for edc for me
I like the overall size of the para but when you just hold the handle without choking up into the choil, the handle just doesn't feel right. It's great when you choke up.
Still i love them both.
My 2 cents :D

PS if i'd had to choose i'd go with the para;)
