Thank you BladeHQ....

All I can say is what a knife. Perfect lock up, centering. G10 is nice and grippy. Sharp factory edge, smooth opening and closing. Carries like a smaller knife in the pocket. Just might kick my PM2 out of my pocket for a while.

Think I can stop buying knives for a bit. I have a Spyderco for almost every carry need now.

Yep. It's one of those rare knives that you keep returning to. The rotation gets smaller and smaller until there's two or three, one of which is the Military. And it still manages to kick the others out of my pocket most of the time. ;)

Congrats on the new pick up. I've been in a bit of a Military mood lately myself. Can't seem to get it out of my pocket. Carrying a newly acquired M390 version today.

It really is a beautiful knife... I wasn't aware there was an m390 version. So much to learn!

There are a lot of versions. Here are some of them. Left to right, Titanium/S30V, G-10/ATS-34, G-10/440V (A.K.A. S60V), CF/S30V, CF/BG-42, G-10/S30V, FG G-10/CPM D2, G-10 & TiRIL/S90V (blade swapped with the next one), CF/CPM M4, CF/S90V, Digicam G-10/S30V black, G-10/CTS-XHP, G-10/CRUWEAR, CF/M390

I've carried my Millie the last couple weeks straight...such a great knife. Bad thing about spydercos is that so many are great blades! Put my Stretch in my pocket today and remembered what a wonderful blade it is too! I need more pockets!

As far as I know, that was the first TiRIL Military released "into the wild". It arrived at my UPS address (work) while I was driving up to Golden for the SFO Sale in 2010. They showed up at dealers a month or so later.

Cool.

Yup. My favorite knife of all time. Good score Todd21969.

@ @LeathermanGX - do it brother! Any thoughts on material? Really interested to see what you come up with.

I am officially jealous of yablanowitz. Awesome collection man!

Wow, awesome collection and photo.
So, which do you carry? I have a much smaller collection of PM2s and don't need to sharpen very often - just rotate ;)

Thanks, I try to keep up on the steels, even if I don't chase colors. The CF/M390 has been my daily carry since it came out. I tend to work my knives harder than the average guy. That badly worn blade (no, it wasn't broken and reshaped) started out as a CF/S90V sprint. I swapped out the blade for M4 after the second time I thinned it down on a belt sander because it was getting too thick at the edge to suit me.

After going back and forth on the military. Then doing the same in which military to get I bit the bullet yesterday. Gpknives has the black/satin blade for 129.95 as part of their Black Friday deal. Now comes the hard part. Waiting

This knife would be perfect for me if there was a tip up carry option. Forcing the user to carry only one way is kind of lame, especially on a knife such as this.
