Mini Commander-Pic

I'd like to up the ante a little bit for this Baby Commander project. As long as we're putting together a wishlist, how about a truly ambidexterous pocket clip with holes drilled for the clip on both sides? Not only would this be aesthetically pleasing to the lefties (which I'm not), but it would also be great to carry this Baby Commander off-side as a back-up to a full-size Commander. And solely for the purpose of flying, I can imagine looking at my airline ticket in advance and arranging the placement of my pocket clip depending upon which side of the plane I'm sitting on. I would want my Baby Commander on my "window side", away from aisle view, making it stealthier to bring into play should such a need arise. Just a thought.
And should this blade be sterile? No markings whatsoever? Ernie might not be thrilled about this idea, but it's worth mentioning. The "CommandAir Stealth". Any thoughts on these rantings of mine?

Eric,

Your variation of the baby Comma was what I was trying to do but somehow got all screwed up. I came up with an almost entirely different knife. I wanted to keep the same blade shape as John mentioned. As for the handles I really don't care if the shape changes. Yours is exactly what I'm looking for, a 3/4 size Commander. The way a CQC5 is a 3/4 size CQC6. Firstly for air travel, secondly I like smaller knives, thirdly, I wear dress slacks everyday to work. Full size knives don't wear well with dress pants. Tried carrying a CQC6, but that lasted for about two days. I still remember drawing the Commander the very first time with slacks on, took it out of the box, clipped it on, drew it & nearly cut off my right butt cheek. Put a nice slash on my leather chair in my office too. But that's entirely another story.

By the way, I have first dibs on the dumpster diving privileges. That was my idea from this string:

As for the vintage vettes, my web designer collects vettes as well. How funny is that. He may be getting rid of a '65(?) 327/327HP. All matching #'s
