Oh yeah, we've heard all right. More importantly, I just got an E-Mail from Carrie at Emerson to say mine was mailed off to me yesterday !

I hope its a #ed one. Look near the top by the thumb Wheel if it has a # dont use it. It will be worth alot more than you paid for it.
For me I have CQC7A-SFS #096.

How much was the mini 7 and does it come in plan edge?
I also sent an email for the mini commander about a week ago and have not got a reply back yet.

Same here, e-mailed order for mini-Commander but no reply. Want mini-CQC-7 with MOP and Damascus whenever the custom shop opens!

The Mini-Seven is going to have a 2.9" blade. It's meant for air travel and areas that do not allow citizens to carry knves with blades over three inches. It'll be offered in "A" and "B" styles, serrated and plain.

I would expect to start seeing them being sold through EKI very soon.

Do a search on the word "Mini" and look since 11/10/00 fo more.

You can get the Mini CQC7 in ever style as the large one. I think its worth getting one. And dont worry they will be out soon.

Yes if you call Emerson you will be put on the list. I'm on the list for a green g-10 black plain blade. I called and talked to Dixie on weds. and was told they were going to be cutting green handles on thurs, hopefully mine will be here soon. The price was $139.00.
