Emerson Knives told me that there are no Mini-CQC-7 without partially serrated blades, so I am going to wait. If enough people ask for a plain blade, maybe they will make it.

Dear Mr Emerson,

Can you arrange to make the mini CQC7 with a plain edge? This will make it perfect for air travel, where the security people do not like knives with serrated edges.

Unbelievable.

Now I won't be able to get a Mini CQC 7. Sorry, but partial serrations on blade of that length are about as useless as a set of teats on a bull. I guess I'll just have to order a hard chome plain full size then, but since my current black serrated 7 is already a user the new one will go on shelf. The mini was going to be a daily carry/user too. Dammit.
