Benchmade mini knife - 380 Aller

Thinking about this more and more, what other knife are you getting all these attributes at this price? To the list above I'll throw in USA made by a company that has your back, non-locking so it is more world travel friendly, and the attractive anodizing.

Seriously, complainers and conspiracy theory hive mentality haters, find me another example. I'm curious.
D dirc let's find this knife!

The Kershaw on post 21 probably comes the closest. It's not made in the US, but Kershaw has outstanding customer service that rivals Benchmade. Admittedly, it lacks in zoot compared to the 380, but that would account for the low cost. For travel, I would rather have an inexpensive knife that wouldn't hurt so bad if it got stolen or confiscated. For that the SAK rules, in my book.

Sure, that Kershaw or a sak is a great tool for this purpose. But if I want something on the same level in premium materials and tool functions, made in USA? Let's see the better option...

I carry a Manker Elfin all the time, very useful tool for when I dont want to mess up my other carry.

I like the knife, and don't find the price absurd. Just because it's half the size of a normal pocket knife doesn't mean it costs half as much to make. That's not the realities of manufacturing, materials are likely the smallest cost in manufacturing. Yes BM knives aren't cheap, but they're hardly way out of line when looking at some other manufacturers. The quality is far better than most budget knives imo, and with the warranty it's a knife for life. That's worth something. Not to mention with all the cardboard and paper slicing happening, it's more than adequate. Not saying I'll buy it, but I like it.

Ya small stuff can be a huge PIA to make.

Another grim, unsettling truth is that it ain't 1997 anymore and .74 cent-a-gallon gas is a a wistful memory. The Benjamin is the new Jackson.

Ugly knife, wouldn't buy it, but i know some people who would.

Nauseating thread full of bickering and petty arguments.
