I do not know if this would really count as 'selling', as you are not exactly going to be making a lot(if any) on this...
You are mainly just shipping them to us...But I do not know how picky they are about that sort of thing around here...
If you ever want to see REALLY picky....Go to www.selfdefenseforums.com and look at how quick they ban people for something as simple as getting in an argument with some of the veterans on that forum!!!

What is full retall? About $20.00us? That is ok for me.

Full retail here is $50. thats why I jumped on this guy for one for $20.

I will do a test tonight if you like and see what the burn time is.

No it doesent get too hot to hold after an extended period.

Can you take a pic. with you holding it?
It would make the scale a lot more apparent.
 
Ok, so I have one now. Full boat retail was $55 including shipping. The lighter/lantern is very cool. You twist the bottom knerling, and up comes the glass wind screen. I've get about a little over any hour burn time at the lowest flame setting. The base of the unit doesn't get too hot to pick up.

My biggest complaint is refuling. It seems that none of the butane refills that I use have the right nozzel. I get it filled, but waste a lot of fuel in the process.

Temper - can you let me know what you use to refill the ligher?

I got the unit direct from essential gear. Dave in customer service was able to find 2 of them. He has one left, I believe. Call or email him if you really want one.

I called last week and never got an answer. He said that he had one for you, but that he would look for another. NADA!
So, I guess we will have to look for another source. Any ideas?

One of the refills I have is a BIG one(about the size of a can of air freshener, and the cap has a bunch of different nozzles you can break off of it for different size fillers. You might look for one of those.

Does it require the REAL GOOD butane? Or can you use anything in it?
It being a non-jet flame makes me think that any would work, but I would like to be sure...

WHICH 'Essential Gear'? When I look I get all kinds of shops called Essential Gear...

I'm pretty sure that it will work with any butane.

Ask for Dave in Customer Service. If there is one out there he'll find it for you. The only other place is Japan. I saw a site that had them but it was all in Japanese...

Guys, Ouch! $55.00

I use normal butane without an adapter on it, and yes it sprays everywhere when I do it too.
 
Did anybody find a source for these. I found one in Germany but they don't ship outside the country.

I'm glad this topic was reopened. I all but gave up on this "toy"!

Those of you that own this item now for a while, how do you like it?
