Mini mill

I would say makin margaritas, but it doesn't have enough Z travel.
I can't believe nobody has made a " it's not the size of the tool joke".
But seriously....I'm buying the damn thing.

I have the Micro Mark version of the exact same one. Same motor, belt drive etc. but mine has a slightly smaller table and the wheels are .50 per turn if I remember correctly. If you're getting a DRO that won't really matter and I think I'll get some of those from Grizzly that were recommended above. One thing I would get with it is the gas strut. It made a big difference for me. I use mine to relieve liners and cut nicks and pulls in slip joints. I also use it as a drill press when tight precision is needed. Works great for everything I have needed. I have also fabricated a lot of jigs and tools for making knives as well. Helps make life a lot easier. I honestly don't know that a larger knee mill would be of much benefit to me for what I do.

i have a mini mill and beat the hell out of it (broke the gears and got the belt convert) if you keep things tight and true up all you can it will pass for a gaurd miller and light work.
i have my eyes open for a 32-36 inch bridgeport (tho really if i coudl get a good USA made 24 inch bridgeport tyrp mill i woudl be happy )

i will look forward to less chatter and broken tools and the min i mill can be turnded into my "tapping rig"
