Mini Mirco Bowie for 1/31

My Bowie is in! This is bad to the bone! The weight and feel is incredibly similar to its bigger brothers. Bahkta nailed it and Bawannas design is here to stay as far as Im concerned! Great job Bawanna! The distil taper of the blade is perfect and also the taper of the handle is beautiful. It is almost as thick as the scales themselves and mine is over 1/4" thick:D. Stubby little beast but it aint "itty bitty". It is balanced and feels like it brothers and could definitely do some chopping! The blade is a hair under 4" depending on how you measure it with the scales being curved there and all. Ill get some pics up soon as I get a chance. This will be my cargo pants EDC from now on! Anyone else get theirs yet?
 
I can't believe you already got one. Your making me even more anxious to hold one. I can't wait. Hoping for Monday.

I dont think you could shrink the handle down any more and be comfortable for regular use but for my hands I think it will be perfect. I will tie a short leather loop for a lanyard and wrap it around my pinky. Will feel sweet that way! OK sorry Steve quick crappy photo but for scale only. All four of my fingers wrap around snugly for whittling and drawcutting. If you have really fat fingers the tang protrusion (lanyard hole) may dig into your pinky but is not a problem for my short fat fingers. You can definitely get a full grip on it. Its perfect for my fingers. The balance point is where blade meets the handle where grandpa balances about half an inch front of the cho.

I agree. I was waiting to let Bawanna do that. Thats why I posted in this thread. I wish he would have gotten his before me but since all was positive i figured Id say something:thumbup:

Looks absolutely razzle dazzle perfect to me. I think my hands might be a tad smaller than yours. Man oh man, I can't wait for Monday.

First Monday I've looked forward too in a very long time, maybe even the first Monday I've ever looked forward too.

Steve Tall for president. That's a fine idea, course I plan to take mine to work every day but that's ok Tuesday will be the first. Hopefully in a couple three hours we'll start the bonding process. IT'S MONDAY!
 
Im in! I took her out to eat yesterday and had a full rack of pork ribs. Boy I sure wanted to break her out and chop up!:D She was too clean and I was too dirty tho. Im glad I live far away from yall. I know Bawannas throwing stuff at me now for gettin it first. Hang in there Bawanna. Just a few more hours...I hope. If you dont get yours today ill overnite mine to ya till you get yours. I was thinking of a little checkering anyway! That would really make it a Bawanna Bowie:thumbup:

I can sure do some checkering for ya if your serious on that. Not a problem at all.
 
I actually thought of it before I got it in hand but now that I have it I wonder if there is enough real estate on it. I am serious! Ill pm ya details and a sketch etc. When you get yours in hand let me know what you think? I was thinking like diamondback rattlesnake shape around the rivets so ya don't have to mess with doing the rivets. Kinda like one empty diamond then one checkered then empty then checkered till ya run out of handle? you could probably fit a quarter between each rivet. Thats about the available space. Can you checker over the rivets too being steel? just curious?
