had a bit of a mini-North East gathering today.

met up with TonyM, Marcelo, Esav and Ken C today for a walk around a fishing/hunting expo... help me out guys, what was the name of the show again? :o

afterwards, Tony, Marcelo, Theo and i all went for a hike around Harriman park. we took a fairly short, steep trail up to the top. we putzed around chatting at the top for a while, cutting things and enjoying the beautiful weather.

we headed down, took a detour, and then made it back to the cars to head home. would have loved to stay overnight there, the whole area was very nice and the conditions were perfect.

by the way, keep in mind those knives are for four guys for a (guessing here...) 3 mile hike...and we didn't include the folding saws.;)

That seemed adequate for today but we were definitely under-knifed for an overnight :grumpy::D

You guys picked a true winner of a day! Major snow melt today, and spring is in the air a little!
 
Good times. Looks like a nice spot. Cant wait till July when I can hang with you dudes....
 
Looks like you guys had a lot of fun out there today. Rained here most of the day, couldn't get out to do anything.
