Mini Ti Pry Info Thread

Is a six inch bar , bent pry tip, beadblasted, black paracord or black rubber tube wrap possible? If so, at what price? If not six inches, how long can you go?

The bars I have already cut down are 8" long. I get two per strip that way. Basically each strip yields $40 for me so if I were to one off special order one strip I'd be wanting $40 for the special order item. Hope you understand. I have these allotted to produce so much and at this point with the popularity of them going through the roof thanks to that video on you tube I'm inclined to keep what I have. I'll be happy to make one six inches but that leaves a 2" piece of scrap off the end that I can't use so thats kind of where I'm coming from.

Let me know. Thanks for asking

A couple others and that should show pretty well what is available I think.

Another Nutnfancy referral here. I'd like to get one anodized like the blue one in #43, which I understand is bead blasted and blue anodized. I'd like mine bent style with solid blaze orange wrap.

I do have one question. The little County Comm steel ones are heat treated, so one would expect the bend to stay intact, especially with the little leverage you can probably apply with them (I haven't used any little pry bars before). I assume these are just bent, so is there any likelihood of accidentally unbending them from harsh use? I was just wondering about that. In other words, is the bend a weak point compared to the rest of the bar?

I'll send payment once you've confirmed receipt of my request. Thanks, Steve!

Consider this confirmed. :D One bead blasted blue with blaze orange cord coming up. STR@bladeforums.com is my pay pal. $23 total. Thanks

I figure with enough force one could rebend one but If it bends when using it I'd say someone needs a bigger pry tool to do what they are attempting to do with one of these. I don't sell them as heavy duty pieces of equipment. They are key ring pry tools and thats all. I have not had any reports of people rebending one. I would expect that it would bend in a new spot rather than where it is bent now but again since I have not done that I don't really know. Being 4" long in most cases or shorter it would be a lot of force and almost painful to bare handedly bend one I think. It takes heat and tools to even bend them the way you see them.

The real difference between these other than the material is weight. These are half the weight of the county comm ones. I have some of those now after finding them and of course ti brings the color option to the table as well as corrosion resistance but its also a handy flat head screw driver for when you need that. I'd call these tools for in a pinch when its all you have. These are just easier to tote being more convenient on your person.

Yes I mailed it out on the day you ordered it like I have for most of the orders placed here. Where are you located? I need a little more than a screen name to add anything else. Thanks and sorry you have not seen it yet.

Steve,
Can I order 3. Two bent blue with orange/bk camo. One bent green with blue camo. Can you tag the cord end a little long? Thanks. Will pay pal once confirmed. Headed to Denver so whatever that equates to postage wise.

Regards,

Rud

No problem.

Just so everyone knows, and this is not directed at you, but since I'm posting I am just going to say this now. I've been making these up as folks tell me they want one here. That stops as of today. I have four sitting here that were ordered by people posting or emailing me that they wanted one and ordering a color only to make them up to their request and then never hear back from them again after trying to contact them repeatedly. Thats what I have right now. So far to date I've had to retreat over ten and put them back in stock due to non contact follow ups after ordering. So, from now on I make them when I see the payment and not until. Sorry but I'm tired of having to reblast them to start over for someone else or set them aside and hope that someone else wants one like someone else ordered them.

Anyway, not pointing fingers or naming names but just saying I've had some issues with this. If you ordered one of my pry bars here and didn't follow through you need to get on the stick and let me know if you want what I made for you. A couple of you guys asked for some very special pry tools even going so far as to specify lengths and widths as well as color matches for both multi color bars and cords and then left me hanging. :grumpy:

Atlas I appreciate your order and your interest. To Canada is not a problem at all. The total will be $64 for three and STR@bladeforums.com is my pay pal. Thanks again and as I have said before also, please be sure the address in the payment shows up by paying for goods and be sure the address in the payment is the one I am shipping to because pay pal will not cover it on their end if I ship anywhere else.

Funds sent. Let me know if there's an issue.

Also, you can try listing the ten you've made that had the seller back out and see if someone wants to take them off your hands.
