Minor League Baseball

That's where you're out if you don't zip up your fly while you're in the field, right?
Kinda. I was involved in an Infield fly rule. The other coach yelled and almost hit the ump. All over a JH girl's city park league game. Usually I was the pitcher or catcher. I was playing SS. The 2nd base player almost ran into me trying to watch a pop up. Ball hit the ground. Batter was out by rule.

Please come to see the Greenville (SC) Drive. The team is the Red Sox A league. The stadium is 2/3 scale of Fenway Park. There are a lot of restaurants near and easy parking.

If I make it down there I will try. I have a friend in NC.

Some years ago I worked on a backdrop of a copy of the Fenway scoreboard. I want to say it was sent to Japan. I put my initials in the white lines that usually the owners have put their in Morse code, and my buddies also.

We have a field near our home where they play American Legion and High School games. There is usually a small entrance fee. The also have another field that is free and other high school age leagues play there, we really enjoy those games and the sights and sounds can be heard. Hey batter batter, swing batter batter. Our local minor league team/field is okay but the commercialism is maximized and is very loud with music and promotions - its kinda like a night club/sponsorship situation, but hey, different strokes for different folks. We enjoy the local games.

Kane County Cougars for me. (Illinois) Decent baseball, excellent stadium experience in every way.

👍😎I can see the Kane County Cougars weekend fireworks from my house. We enjoy going there too.

Asside from Kane Co, IL I’ve been to Durham, NC, Kinston, NC, and Toledo, OH.

The Mudhens were always a good time. Nice stadium too.

I’ve seen the Buffalo Bisons at Sahlen Field a few times. It’s the only minor league stadium I’ve ever been in so I’ve nothing to compare it to, but fwiw it seemed like a real nice field to me.

Found my Paw Sox cap

The mascot was a polar bear from the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, RI. As the team I think the polar bears are gone.

The Sacramento Rivercats (SF Giants - AAA) are playing the Las Vegas Aviators (Oakland A's -- AAA) in Sacramento on Sunday 6/11 @ 1pm.

I plan to go to this game. :)
