Speaking kids, I was about to use the bathroom when my 2 year old bursts in, hands me a roll of toilet paper, and says "here's a bummy towel". Very matter-of-factly, too. I have no idea where she got that name from

Never heard that one! My grand daughter busted in on me too last weekend and gave me this look of shock. I was totally stumped on what to say. I kinda shuffled around the toilet with my back to her for obvious reasons while trying to figure out what to tell her then she said "your standing up?" Then ran off. Hmmmm? Figure that one!
 
Standing up! I can totally understand her shock and running off, well maybe not so much the running off part but rolling away really really fast.

Kind of miss that but try not to dwell on it ya know.

You're right on that one! It's fun watching her figure things out. A few days ago she at 2/3rds of a turkey sub from subway, and of course afterwards her little baby gut was bulging out just like her daddy's does all the time. A few hours later I see her staring at her belly in the mirror. She looked horrified, and says "Oh no..." like it was the end of the world. She was so forlorn. Had to explain to her that it'd go back to normal.

Very sweet :), and very hilariously written. Bless her.

On a side-note, women tend to keep on doing that even later, as they age, but it is usually a deeper "OH NO!!" and what causes it doesn't come off as easily as in her case.

Hmm, now to think of it...I did that a few times myself? I do need to lose some pounds!

My custom order for baby Noah showed up yesterday. Made it out of Nepal just in the nick of time. 22"/26oz, gelbu/hanshee hybrid. I'm having a busy weekend but I will get pics up ASAP.
