Mistresses. Oh how I love them..Post your Mistress. All shapes and sizes

Nice mistress... and I think the pic makes her look good.

Yup... she used to have the OD green coating, and she has some really nice green linen standard slabs.
And this one has some DEEP infi dimples as well... especially on the other side of the blade.
I think if I sanded it down to be a smooth satin, she would only be about a 1/4" thick. :o I may still do it one day.

But for now... I like her all dirty, fat and dimply lookin'. :D

Wow, those would have to be some pretty deep dimples!

I'm thinking the green linen may just be the best kind of scale out there - it's pretty, it's tough, but it's not too pretty to use hard. Gotta love it.

My preference for handles...

Linen micarta if it has a pattern cut, and canvas micarta for smooth or hand shaped.

I'm not a big fan of G-10... too heavy, too sharp with pattern cuts,
and too slick with a smooth finish when wet.
Some of the color combos do look great though.

Green linen is my favorite with a pattern cut...
you get some really great color variations with age and use.

Pretty much exactly the same as my preferences. G-10 can be pretty, like the black standard G-10 scales on my older FFBM, but it is very hard compared to linen micarta and not as grippy (or then it's too grippy to the point of feeling sharp).

The only 2 G-10's I like are Orange G-10 which is nothing short of great and Bill Siegle's G-10 on his knives. Very comfortable and grippy even though it's smooth. His knives are some of the most substancial feeling of all choppers!

Hey folks, quick question. Do the mistresses with the grooves running along the blade have a different name? I like the ones without the grooves and I need to know what they're all called so I can keep a lookout on the exchange. Thanks!

there the fbm cg with corrugated bevel technology

I like my mistresses with a lot of belly and a large round butt. Meet Shaneeqwah, my other battle mistress....:
