I'm hoping to do a fire this weekend, but I don't know if I can do it as awesomely as JAFW did.... I can make it big though! If only I had some logs lying around, I could make a knife forge out of them, and actually, I did about a month ago, but no pictures....

I'll be gunnin for this one. I have some interesting ways to make fire I think...

Contest entry follows :)

The BK11 will make short work of this meat.

Where there's smoke, there's fire. The BK11 is not afraid.

Hickory is hard, but the BK11 is up to the task.

Thanks for the awesome giveaway MKK!!

I wasn't able to make the fire when I posted last, but I'll make it like Monday after I get home, hopefully my new toys will be here to help, other wise I'll just start it with my zippo....

Picture of teeny tiny fire I made while shivering a while ago (*Not my entry*):

Got my entry in, not that it's a great one, but it was my first attempt at making char cloth, and given the local fire ban that's been going on since February, that was the best I could do. I gotta say, I'm surprised more people haven't gotten anything in, given that even I got my entry in.

I like fire. I did this one in my back yard with scrounged materials. Just your basic pitchwood fire.
