Here are some pictures from this past weekend's winter camping trip. I'll try to answer any questions that come up. I'm sure others will post their's here too.

That looks like one of the Italian surplus wool blankets everyone raves about. I have been wanting to make one of those for a while. Would you happen to have any more info on it?

Cool trip (literally)!

I am impressed with the pullover as well. It actually looks really good too. My dog may lose his blanket as that is what he is sleeping on these days.

Wow, you guys nailed it. It is an Italian Surplus blanket that was sewn into a pullover. We all liked Bobby's so much we are all going to be placing orders soon. Apparently, they can be made for $35 or so as long as you provide the blanket. Not bad for a thick pullover. I'm getting mine with two chest pockets and the two handwarmer pockets.

The Kifaru is awesome! It fit like a glove and carried all my bulky gear well. The Tipi is on my "to buy" list.

Todd vs. Tree

That tree is sure doing its best to fight back! That's a nasty situation, I really hate it when that happens when you cut a tree down. I would not have been standing still to take a picture once I saw that happening!
