MLK Weekend Winter Camping Trip 2009 at the WLC

They actually cut it down the first time with the Iltis felling ax but it got hung up. Todd couldn't stay the night as he had a prior commitment (wife & kids) so the next day he returned with his chain saw. Boy it sure made for some fantastic firewood. We had a really fantastic time as usual. My wife Aggie was the only female of the 14 of us. She can brave anything: she married me.
The food was outstanding as usual, met a couple of new folks and are looking forward to PEACE on the Memorial Day weekend.

Wow, you guys nailed it. It is an Italian Surplus blanket that was sewn into a pullover. We all liked Bobby's so much we are all going to be placing orders soon. Apparently, they can be made for $35 or so as long as you provide the blanket. Not bad for a thick pullover. I'm getting mine with two chest pockets and the two handwarmer pockets.

The Kifaru is awesome! It fit like a glove and carried all my bulky gear well. The Tipi is on my "to buy" list.

Sweet! How do we get in touch?
