Thank you, I use the dark ones the most, not sure why but I do.Very nice set of Mnandis you have there. I like my "piano paires" so I tend to go for dark wood and cream ivory when I can.:thumbup:

Me neither and I'm super happy with the shade of it...very soothing.I've never seen a giraffe bone with that color. Very mnandi.

True, but I've pretty much bought the ones I want.I think we now know why Mnandi's have been so quick to be snatched up on the exchanges.

Do you notice if the giraffe bone makes the mnandi weigh a little more than the woods?
Im thinking of trying the mnandi out again but I want to try to get the heaviest version
as I like a little more heft in my knives

I forgot about weighing them. The giraffe weighs in at 1.6 like my other ones.
The line up has changed though, here are the current six:
Top to Bottom:
Mesquite Burl
Cocobolo
Snakewood
Ebony w/snakeskin damascus
Giraffe Bone w/ladder damascus
Mammoth Bark

GREAT selection of Mnandis. My all-time favorite small (production) folder! (I have 9
)That mammoth bark stands out from the crowd, as does that "snakeskin (or dragonskin?) damascus. Actually, all six are very nice!
