Yes, well I can't debate that. It's just depressing that the most incredible bark specimens have crazy Damascus designs that are really sought after. Obviously I understand the practice, but I have the idea of my perfect knife , and it's a plain bladed special bark mnandi. Call me Ishmael...

Still carry, use and love my snake wood Mnandi I bought in 2010. Just realized the blade is 3 inches long and per another BF member it's illegal in Chicago. What a shame.
I doubt if anywhere in America you would be arrested for carrying a Mnandi.
Alessio, this ziricote inlay is an especially nice example. Great knife!
