My newest Mnandi. This one is a highly figured and different Cocobolo. Definitely a keeper.

This raindrop blade has a nice and tight pattern. It seems to have a slight higher contrast for a 2015 raindrop and the light reflects the blade on each raindrop pattern..

The darker fading is just the lighting on the blade. as mentioned this blade really attracts light and shadows onto its raindrop patter. I feel like this raindrop pattern can be felt.

Here is a close up of the grain (harder to tell from other pictures)
